Important Note when ordering Chainguard: All Chainguards of any make and model requires the use of a front chain guard fixing holder bracket that is always supplied with our Hebie Chainguard to match the model you order. These stamped pressed metal fixing holder bracket needs to be installed behind the chainring onto the face of the bottom bracket of the frame. Firstly a crank arm puller is required to remove the chainring crank arm and then a cartridge bottom bracket tool will need to be used to un-screwed and taken out, then in reverse placed back into the hole of the front Chainguard fixing holder bracket and re-fitted and screwed back into the bottom bracket which holds the front Chainguard fixing holder firmly into place. Hebie manufacture their 970 front Chainguard fixing holder bracket which prevents having to carry out the above procedure. To finish off the installation, you also need to purchase a universal fixing clamp for the desired seat stay tube diameter. The clamp holds the tail of the Chainguard in place.
